Abstract: According to the reality of Weifang modern tobacco agriculture, the authors expounded the significance of construction of professional tobacco-grower teams, introduced the concept and development goals of professional tobacco growers, summarized the five main aspects of specific measures and requirements on the construction of teams of professional farmers including entry criteria, working procedure, level management, right and obligations and perfect management mechanisms, showing the positive results achieved since initiating the construction of professional tobacco growers, putting forward the next step working ideas.
