Abstract: In this article we introduce the typical application of RFID technology in the tobacco logistics, discuss the prospect of comprehensive promotion and application of RFID technology in the logistics system of the whole tobacco industry. RFID technology can save costs and reduce errors, effectively improve the work efficiency of the individual links, achieve tracking of the whole procedure of tobacco logistics and tracing of product quality, making a comprehensive and efficient agile perception of tobacco logistics. At the same time we put forward the problems and solutions of RFID technology application in the tobacco industry logistics and make suggestions to accelerate the development of norms and technical standards of RFID application in tobacco industry, to establish the information safety system of RFID application in tobacco industry, and to speed up the upgrade of warehouse facilities and the logistics systems of industry and commerce.
