Abstract:
In order to identify the resistance to black shank of germplasm resources from the National Bank of Tobacco Germplasm Resources accurately, race 0 of
Phytophthora nicotianae was used to re-identify the resistance of 77 flue-cured tobacco germplasm resources previously identified as being resistant by field inoculation method. The results indicated that, among all the variety resources, Daqingjin and Jianyeliu were highly resistant. 23 of the varieties including Heiliuzi were resistant, among which Daheiliu, Tailifei 2412, Wangengzi, Dabaijin 0522, Dahuangjin 0295 and Huangmiaoerbenyan 2221 had stronger resistance. 20 of the tested varieties including Luodihuang were moderate resistant. The number of moderate susceptible and highly susceptible varieties were both 12. And 8 varieties were susceptible. Agronomic traits of the 25 resistant materials were characterized and analyzed for genetic diversity. The results showed that the tested germplasms had a high level of genetic diversity, and the width of leaves had the highest diversity index. These results could provide foundation for improvement of resistance to black shank disease in tobacco.
