Abstract:
In order to obtain new flue-cured tobacco varieties with improved resistance to root diseases, Xujin 101 was bred from Nanjiang No.3 as the female parent and Shuangkang 70 as the male parent. The results of many years' tests showed that the genetic traits of this variety are stable, and the main economic characters are better than that of NC89 and Zhongyan 100. Xujin 101 is resistant to
Fusarium mycorrhizal rot, middle resistant to black shank and root knot nematode, middle sensitive to bacterial wilt, CMV and PVY, and its comprehensive resistance to disease is comparable to that of NC89. The variety has good baking characteristics, and good appearance quality of roasted tobacco leaves. The chemical composition is more coordination, and integrated performance can meet the needs of industrial enterprises. The resistance of this variety to root diseases was better, especially to
Fusarium mycorrhizal rot. It is suitable for planting in Huanghuai tobacco areas, especially in the plain area, and the potential for popularization and application is great.
