Abstract: Construction of modern tobacco agriculture is the breakthrough point for achieving modern agriculture in Chuxiong prefecture, which develops the farmers' professional cooperatives as emphasis on innovating the organization of the production of tobacco. As a result of years of practice, the diversified, multi-level and multiform organizations of production and management were formed, which involved with the cooperative of tobacco planting and management, the cooperative of tobacco production and management, the comprehensiveness farmers' professional cooperative and the professional service cooperative. These kinds of farmers' professional cooperatives improved the organized level of agriculture production and management, accelerated the change of household management to united and cooperated management, and promoted harmonious development between industrial agriculture and tobacco.
