    Influences of Blue Film Mulching on Moisture and Temperature of Soil and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Tobacco Leaves

    • Moisture and temperature of soil and photosynthetic characteristics of tobacco leaf had been determined in the tobacco field which mulched with blue film and no color film in hilly region of southern Henan Province. The results indicated that the soil moisture and temperature were significantly higher with treatments of blue film and no color film mulching than with treatment of no mulching. Light intensity and blue light percentage under the tobacco leaf back, net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and water use efficiency of tobacco leaf were higher with treatment of blue film mulching than those of no color film mulching and no mulching treatments.
