Investigation and Analysis of Tobacco Planting Grass-roots Team Construction in Xianfeng County in the Current Situation

Based on the current situation of tobacco production in Xianfeng county in Enshi, status of the 115 technicians and 859 farmers in the countywas analyzed. The results showed that the elderly age structure of the current grass-roots tobacco technicians, weak technical strength, poor promotion channel, tobacco farmers' low enthusiasm, insufficient management ability, the imperfect cultivation mechanism, etc. were important factors that restricting the high-quality development of tobacco production. Therefore, this paper put forward some countermeasures and suggestions of increasing the efforts to attract, use and retain talents, cultivating professional tobacco technology team, caring about tobacco farmers, cultivating professional tobacco farmer team, and doing well in the construction of "two teams" combined with "three aspects".
