    The Effects of Seedling Production Approaches on Growth, Yield and Quality of Tobacco Honghuadajinyuan

    • Field experiment was conduct to compare the effectiveness of three seedling production approaches (nutrition bag, float system without medium and one-stage float seedling in field). The results showed that, 40 d before transplant, growth vigor, leaf number, leaf area, stem length, and stem girth of seedlings with nutrition bag was the best among the three approaches, but opposite result to anti-disease. The difference of agronomical character diminished after 45 d after transplanting, and the economical character was nutrition bag > one-stage float > float without medium. Growth stage of nutrition bag was shorter, compared to that of two others by about 10 days. In conclusion, as far as growth vigor and economic benefit be concerned, nutrition bag > one-stage float seedling > float seedling without medium.
