The Road to Modern Tobacco Agriculture with Mountainous Pattern in Lichuan

Based on the pilot projects of modern tobacco agriculture in the year of 2008 and 2009 in Lichuan, we discussed the main contents of planning and constructing modern tobacco agriculture and analyzed the differences between the two organization modes, “Qixin” and “Leijiaping”. The results showed the “combination of centralization and decentralization, double level management, scale planting, professional service and diversification development ” of the “Qixin” organization mode was suitable for the practical production management in Lichuan, and this mode could improve the positivity of tobacco growers. Based on the pilot projects of modern tobacco agriculture in the year 2010, we took the Hubei tobacco corporation limited-Baiyang base unit as an example to analyze the industry and enterprise in function at the construction of tobacco leaf production base.
