Characteristics and Development of “Qingjiang Source” Brand Tobacco in Enshi, Hubei

In this paper, we introduced the style of “Qingjiang source” brand tobacco in Enshi, Hubei, which is sweet, elegance and aroma, and its characteristics, which is selenium-rich and lower- damage, green and ecological. The Se content in tobacco leaves and soil, their relation, the Se role in reducing tar and lessening harm were investigated. The future direction for the characteristic tobacco development was also proposed .
