Abstract
Field experiment was carried out to study the effect of different burying amount of Vicia Villosa on growth, yield, quality and chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco when applying 70% chemical fertilizer. The result showed that burying green manure could promote tobacco plant growth, especially leaf development, increase leaf SPAD value, improve dry matter accumulation and leaf yield, and improve tobacco chemical quality. When burying green manure at rate of 22 500 kg/ha, the leaf yield, economic value and ratios of first-class leaf were the highest, and compared with the control, which were respectively increased by14.9%, 12.5% and 25.0%. K content of middle leaf and low leaf, and nicotine of top leaf and middle leaf obviously increased. The harmony of chemical composition equaled the control. It suggested that burying green manure at this rate was advisable when applying 70% chemical fertilizer.
