Current Production and Development of Yellow Sun-cured Tobacco in China

A general overview of yellow sun-cured tobacco resource situation and development were presented in this paper. The similarities and differences between sun-cured tobacco and fire-cured tobacco, cultivation situation, use in cigarette industry, studies on sun-cured tobacco were introduced;progress of sun-cured tobacco use in Virginian-type cigarette were elaborated;importance of sun-cured tobacco, sun-cured tobacco-use study and its large-scale and standardized production were discussed.
