Abstract
A solution culture experiment was conducted to investigate the effects ofBO33- concentration on the growth and nutrient absorption of tobacco . The results showed that the plant height and dry matter accumulation was higher than that of the other treatments as BO33- concentration was 0.50- 2.00 mg / L. The uptake of K20 was the highest, followed by N, and the lowest was P205 in different tobacco organs under different BO33- concentrations. The uptake of N,P205 and K20 of different tobacco organs was higher than that of the other treatments when BO33- concentration was 0.50- 2.00 mg /L. The growth and the accumulation of dry matter and nutrient of tobacco were restrained with boron absence( BO33- < 0.50 mg /L) or boron surplus( BO33- ≥200 mg /L) .
