A Study to the Correlation between the Outlook Quality and Main Chemical Component of Flue-cured Tobacco Leaves

    • The correlation analysis between the outlook quality and main chemical component of flue-cured tobacco leaves was studied through 302 samples of bijie district. The results indicated that the extreme significant (P<0.01) and significant (P<0.05) positive correlation of the maturity with the ratio of total sugar and reducing sugar and that of reducing sugar and nicotine, respectively. The oil content had extreme significant (P<0.01) negative effect on the ratio of total nitrogent and nicotine, extreme significant (P<0.01) positive effect on reducing sugar and nicotine. It had that extreme significant (P<0.01) and significant (P<0.05) negative correlation of leaf degree with the ratio of total nitrogent and nicotine and that of reducing sugar and nicotine respectively, extreme significant (P<0.01) positive correlation of leaf degree with reducing sugar and total nitrogent. There existed extreme significant (P<0.01) negative correlation between chroma and the ratio of total nitrogent and nicotine, and extreme significant (P<0.01) positive correlation between chroma and total sugar. Preliminarily, the regression equation was established between the outlook quality and main chemical components of flue-cured tobacco leaves.
