Abstract
Effects of three secondary metabolic pathways on flavor of tobacco and regulation of metabolic channel and gene engineering on secondary metabolism are reviewed in this paper. Also, advances in improving the content of secondary metabolites by gene engineering and its prospective application in variety improvement in tobacco with aroma quality of tobcco leaf were dicussed.
