Status and Prospects of Tobacco Germplasm in China

Tobacco germplasm is one of the important strategic substances for tobacco development in China, is also the cause of China's development potential. The development of tobacco modern agriculture, to a large extent, depends on the tobacco germplasm and its effective use of in-depth digging. The status of research and utilization of tobacco germplasm in China has been described in this paper. New techniques and methods have been used in the research of tobacco germplasm. The development prospect of tobacco germplasm was also suggested.
