Resistance Identification to PVY of Some Tobacco Germplasm Resources

Artificial inoculation in tobacco field was conducted to identify the resistance of 69 tobacco germplasm to PVY. 11 germplasm exhibit high resistance to PVY, they are C151, Havana 10, Balin-Shaiyan and Criollo salteno 11, among which there are 3 flue-cured tobacco varieties, 3 sun-cured tobacco varieties, 3 Turkish tobacco varieties and 2 cigar tobacco varieties, respectively. C151 is a flue-cured tobacco variety with white flowers, and 22 to 24 long-ellipse leaves available in field, the leaf color is green, so C151 can be a useful breeding parent.
