Preliminary Report on Application of Hail-proof Net in Tobacco Fields
Hail is one of the major disasters in tobacco production of Inner Mongolia. In this study we carried out a test to prevent hails from tobacco fields by hail-proof net. The results showed that the hail-proof net was safe and effective, and had no harmful effect to tobacco plant. The disease rate in the treated tobacco fields also decreased. Hail-proof net can be applied in hail area.
