Selection of Filter Decomposing Strains and Electron Microscope Scanning of Their Effects

    • Two strains were selected from the soil and compost to decompose the reformative cellulose films using as cigarette filter materials. The decomposing progress of the film was studied by electron microscope scanning to get the preliminary understanding of the impacts of environmental behaviors on such film degradation so that the technology could be improved in the future to produce some filter material degraded easily, as well as to reduce the film pollution in the soils. In this experiment, the decomposing ratio of both strains could reach more than 40% in three days.
