Abstract:
LJ925 was developed by crossing 6603 as female parent with high resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and K326 as male parent through hybridization and pedigree selection. LJ925 grew strongly in fields, was high resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, moderately susceptible to blank shank, brown spots, mosaic virus and root-knot nematode, susceptible to granville wilt. LJ925 was easy to cure, and the colors of cured leaves were lemon to orange. Leaf chemical composition of 9-13 positions was acceptable, with reductive sugar 21.00%, total sugar 24.74%, alkaloid 1.79%, total nitrogen 1.74%, K
2O 1.55%, chlorine 0.40%, starch 5.51%. Comparing with NC89, LJ925 had better economic value, better appearance quality and smoking quality. LJ925 had wide adaptability and good quality, and it can be grown in drought areas or continuous cropping fields, and should be transplanted earlier, and with caution of potato virus Y.
