Abstract:
The contents of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn and Hg in soils and tobacco in Fuzhou of Jiangxi province were determined. The Nemero pollution index were used to evaluate the soil pollution. The result showed that heavy metal contents in Fuzhou soil were lower than those of the second grade of standards for soil environmental quality of China (GB15618-1995), and soil pollution level belonged to precaution range. Cd and Hg were major risk factors in soil. Heavy metals contents of soils and tobacco in Fuzhou were Zn>Pb>Cr>Cu>Ni>As>Cd>Hg and Zn >Cu >Pb >Cd >Cr >Ni >As >Hg. The coefficient of variation of Hg, Cd, As in soils and Ni, Cr in tobacco were relatively high. Enrichment factors of heavy metals in tobacco were Cd >Zn >Cu >Hg >Ni >Cr >Pb >As. The enrichment factor of Cd was as high as 11.67, which suggests tobacco is one of the high Cd enrichment crops.
