Abstract:
Species and damage status of weeds in tobacco fields in Panxi of Sichuan Province were investigated using inverted “W” 9-point sampling method and seven visual method in 2013 and 2014. Emergence characteristics of weeds were surveyed by field ten-point investigation. The results showed that there were 115 weed species in 75 genera belonging to 30 families. According to relative abundance and comprehensive weed damage index, the major noxious weed species included
Polygonum nepalense Meisn.,
Digitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop.,
Polygonum lapathifolium L.,
Galinsoga parviflora Cav.,
Echinochloa colonum (L.) Link、
Chenopodium album L. and so on. There were two peaks of weed emergence in tobacco fields. One was in 20-30 days after tobacco transplanting, which is the major emergence peak. And the other weed emergence peak was in 1-10 days after film uncovering and hilling.
