Abstract:
The tobacco endophytic fungi are an important part of the microbial ecosystem in tobacco field. They are widely distributed and possess various biological functions. Metabolitesof tobacco endophytic fungi play a positive role in promoting the growth of tobacco, improving the ecological adaptability of the host, and reducing harmful substances in tobacco. Tobacco endophytic fungi thus have a great potential to be used in the fields of medicine, plant growth accelerator, and biopesticide. In this review, the authors summarize the isolation and identification of tobacco endophytic fungi, as well as their biodiversity and community distribution characteristics. Their functions and development prospect are also discussed. By detailed analyses, the distributing disciplinarian in different periods and the current application status of the tobacco endophytic fungi are conclude. Finally, the difficulties in current research and the development tendency are discussed, and research perspectives are also proposed.
