Abstract:
Three fertilization treatments with deep tillage (T1:10% less fertilizer;T2:10% more fertilizer;T3:20% more fertilizer) and control (convention method,CK) were setup to investigate the tobacco growth, yield and quality influenced by deep tillage and associated fertilization. The results showed that T1,T2 and T3 increased the tobacco plant height, leaf length, leaf breadth and leaf area compared with CK.Under deep tillage, the rates of tobacco weather fleck and powdery mildew increased with increased fertilizer dose.In comparison with CK,tobacco weather fleck decreased by 32.7% and no powdery mildew occurred in T1;Weather fleck and powdery mildew decreased by 21.3% and 49.2% in T2;while occurrence of both diseases was higher in T3.The tobacco yields of T1 and T2 increased by 10.3% and 4.35% compared with CK.The tobacco price and profit of T1 and T2 increased as well.According to the chemical composition analysis, tobacco nicotine and total nitrogen increased with fertilizer dose, but the ratios of nitrogen to nicotine, sugar to nicotine and sugar to nitrogen were negatively related to fertilizer dose.Under deep tillage, the fertilizer dose could be reduced and be beneficial to the tobacco quality.Overall, the tobacco production would be effective using less fertilizer incorporated with deep tillage.
