Effects of Synergistic Application of Organic Amendments and Functional Bacteria on Microbial Communities in Tobacco-planting Soil

Abstract: To analyze the effects of organic amendments and functional bacteria on microbial communities in tobacco planting soil, a field experiment was conducted to explore the soil microbial community by adding organic amendments and functional bacteria into organic fertilizer. The results showed that applying the organic amendments and bacteria of nitrogen-fixing, phosphorus-solubilizing and potassium-releasing could affect the structure and composition of soil microbial communities. The application of pig manure-based amendment with functional bacteria exhibited particularly significant effect on promoting soil nitrogen cycling, accelerating nitrogen cycling rate, and enhancing the availability of soil phosphorus and potassium. The nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium contents of tobacco leaves during the fast-growth period increased by 13%, 40%, and 25%, respectively. The cow manure-based amendment and carbonized chaff displayed significant advantage in the amount increase of saprotrophic fungi, which proved beneficial for the organic matter decomposition.
