Abstract:
The effects of nitrogen rates and the number of leaves remained on plants on growth, yield, value and quality of flue-cured tobacco Honghaudajinyuan were studied by field experiments. The results showed that the effect of nitrogen rates, leaves remained, and their interaction on agronomic and economic attributes were significant. The reducing sugar content, total sugar content, total alkaloid and other chemical composition in tobacco leaves between treatment were significantly different at the 0.05 level. Considering the agronomical character, value, coordination of chemical compositions and the results of flavor quality, the best quality was found at 45-90 kg/ha nitrogen rates and 18-22 leaves remained per plant.
