Abstract:
Soil Se distribution and the relationship between total Se content of soil and tobacco leaf in tobacco planting area of Enshi were studied by soils and plants sampling analysis. The results showed that, above 98% of the tobacco planting area of Enshi was sufficient or high in soil total Se content, with an average of (0.63±0.56) mg/kg. Higher total Se content in upper part tobacco leaves (0.18±0.13) mg/kg was observed, the average total Se content of middle part tobacco leaves and lower part tobacco leaves were (0.17±0.105) mg/kg, which were relatively lower. Total Se content of middle and upper part leaves were significantly positively correlated with soil total Se content, respectively (
r=0.686
**, 0.480
**,
r0.01=0.302,
n=70), whereas total Se content of lower part leaves were not positively correlated with soil total Se content (
r=0.123,
n=70). Total Se content in tobacco leaves in high soil total Se content area was obviously higher than that in sufficient or low soil total Se content area. In high soil total Se content area, significantly positive correlations between total Se content of middle and upper part leaves and soil total Se content were observed, whereas in sufficient or low soil total Se content area, significantly positive correlation between them was not obserbed.
