Abstract:
In order to enhance the classified instruction of tobacco balanced fertilization and provide the basis for drafting tobacco specialty fertilizer formula, based on the planting area distribution, the physical and chemical characters in 1101 soil samples collected from tobacco-growing areas in Nanping were analyzed, and the cluster analysis was processed for comprehensive evaluation, The results showed that the tobacco-growing soil in Nanping was slightly acid, most soils texture was loam; exchangeable Mg, available Fe, Mn and Cu were rich; organic matter, total N, total P, available P, available S, available Zn were moderate; available N, available K, exchangeable Ca, water-soluble chlorine were relatively low; total K and available B were low. The variation coefficient (7.71%) of pH was the lowest. Large variation existed among the content of available P, water-soluble Cl and available B, with CV of 80.30%, 77.90% and 75.87%, respectively. The soil of tobacco-growing in Nanping could be divided into 5 categories. The alternative use of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide could adjust pH values in the different soil types. On the different fertilization of tobacco, the first category was controlling N, increasing K, P-sufficient and supplying B; the second category was N-sufficient, increasing K, supplying P and controlling S; the third one was an appropriate rate of N and P, a high rate of K, supplying B and Cl; the forth category was an appropriate rate of N, increasing K, controlling P and S, supplying B and Cl; the fifth category was an appropriate rate of N, controlling P, increasing K, supplying B and Cl.
