Abstract:
Available micronutrient contents, including Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn, B and Mo, in 298 tobacco-grown soil samples of Bijie area were tested and evaluated. The results indicated that soil available Cu, Fe and Mn were extremely rich and available Zn was rich in Bijie, however, more than 50% and 40% of tobacco-grown soils were deficient in available B and Mo, respectively. There was a significantly negative correlation between the content of available Zn, Fe and Mn and the pH in the soil, while there was negative correlation between available Mo and pH. Moreover, there was a positive correlation between the available Zn, Fe, Mn and B content and the organic matter content. As a whole, B and Mo fertilizers should be added, and the amount of Cu, Zn, Fe and Mn should be controlled for tobacco production in case of heavy metal contamination in Bijie.
