Abstract:
Field experiments were carried out to study the effects of varous N:P on flue-cured tobacco leaf yield and quality in Fujian Nanping. The results showed that when the N:P was 1:0.8, the agronomic characteristics, leaf yield, and quality of flue-cured tobacco were improved. The largest leaf area increased 325 cm2 in buding time. Leaf yield and value increased by 150.6 kg/hm2 and 2100 yuan/hm2 respectively when compared to the treatment without phosphorus fertilizers. The different proportions of phosphorus fertilizers had no significant effect on leaf phosphorus content. When N:P was lower than 1:0.8, the agronomic characteristics and leaf quality of flue-cured tobacco decreased. Maximum overall benefit and quality of tobacco leaves were observed when the N:P was 1:0.8 in Fujian Nanping soils .
