Abstract:
There existed obvious correlations among chemical compositions of tobacco leaf and altitude, weather factors and soil nutrients. The results in Guizhou province showed that the significant positive correlation of the altitude with the content of total sugar of middle and upper leaves, and also the significant negative correlation with the content of nicotine were found. Among weather factors in June, there existed significant positive correlation of sunlight hours with the contents of total sugar, reductive sugar, starch and potassium, whereas significant negative correlation with the content of nicotine and total nitrogen. Among weather factors in July, the significant negative correlation of precipitation with the content of total sugar, reductive sugar, nicotine and chloride, the significant positive correlation with potassium were found; meanwhile, the significant positive correlation of temperature with the content of total nitrogen of middle and upper leaves, and the significant negative correlation with the content of total sugar and reductive sugar of bottom leaves as well as protein of upper and bottom leaves were obtained. At the same time, the significant positive correlation of soil nitrate nitrogen with the content of nicotine, total nitrogen, protein of upper leaves, and the same correlation between soil available potassium and the potassium content of middle and upper leaves were found among soil nutrients.
