Abstract:
The application effect of nano-functional coating in different kinds of bulk curing barn was studied. Results showed that after using nano-functional coating material, the flue-curing time was reduced by 14.89 hours, and the saved coal was 0.69 kg per one kg cured leaves, with 0.14 kWh of electric power. The ratio of fresh leaf to dry leaf decreased by 0.7, while the proportion of superior leaves was enhanced by 5.11%, and the average price increased by 0.58 yuan/kg. In addition, the contents of reducing sugar or starch in cured leaves increased, yet the content of nicotine decreased. The quality and volume of aroma increased, while the irritancy was reduced. The application effect was different with the curing barn type or curing technique.
