Abstract:
Seven new flue-cured tobacco resources were studied for their growth period, morphological characteristics, agronomic traits, and natural diseases, etc. The results showed that between these strains, agronomic traits and natural disease had no significant difference. The pitchs and leaf widths of JZ7-02, JZ7-04 and JZ7-07 were larger than the control variety. Growth period for all of these strains were between 174 and 186 days. Luster was from moderate to strong. Oil was from middle to existence. Color was uniform and frame was loose and thickness was moderate.
