Preliminary Report on Application of Hail-proof Net in Tobacco Fields

摘要: 雹灾是农业生产主要灾害之一，雹灾造成大面积农田减产和绝收时有发生。烟叶抗雹灾能力最低，为探索防御雹灾新方法，开展了防雹网防御烟田雹灾试验。结果表明，防雹网防御烟田雹灾安全有效，网本身对烟叶产量、化学成分无明显影响，加网烟田发病率有所下降，是一种值得推广的有效方法。

Abstract: Hail is one of the major disasters in tobacco production of Inner Mongolia. In this study we carried out a test to prevent hails from tobacco fields by hail-proof net. The results showed that the hail-proof net was safe and effective, and had no harmful effect to tobacco plant. The disease rate in the treated tobacco fields also decreased. Hail-proof net can be applied in hail area.
