Abstract:
Three flue-cured tobacco varieties, including K326, Yunyan87 and Honghuadajinyuan(HD) were used to investigate the response ability of these varieties to soil trace elements by testing contents of four trace elements in rhizosphere soil, tobacco roots and leaves. Results indicated that the response ability of flue-cured tobacco varieties to soil trace elements was in the sequence of K326>Yunyan87>HD, the content of different trace elements in tobacco roots was iron>manganese>zinc>copper. The copper content in tobacco leaves followed the sequence of upper leaves>middle leaves>lower leaves, manganese followed lower leaves> middle leaves>upper leaves, while iron and zinc followed lower leaves>middle leaves>upper leaves in K326 and Yunyan87, yet middle leaves>lower leaves>upper leaves in Yunyan87. Hence, the application of trace elements fertilizer should base on the characteristics of tobacco varieties to improve the yield and quality of tobacco leaves.
