Abstract:
The compatibility of 13 middle flue-cured tobaccos in different parts of Henan was evaluated and analyzed. Results showed that the overall compatibility of the same region was superior to that of different region, and the compatibility changes of the single indicator was not exactly same with the overall. Tobacco compatibility was related to the difference of its organoleptic quality, the difference and average of the water-soluble total sugar content, as well as the mixed ratio. While the water-solubility total sugar content of tobacco was less than 7%, or the average was within 25% to 30%, the compatibility of tobacco was favorable. The compatibility of tobacco leaves could be predicted according to the differences of sensory quality and water-soluble total sugar content. When the content difference of water-soluble total sugar was below 7% and the sensory quality difference below 3, the leaves could be mixed at the same ratio, on the contrary the ratio of leaves with higher sensory quality should increase.
