Abstract:
By means of distant hybridization between Longyan II ?穴 a variety of Nicotiana tabacum?雪 and stramonium?熏 new-type tobacco which contained atropine and scopolamine was expected to be incubated to meet the needs of consumers who were suffering asthma and cough but couldn’t stop smoking. The hybridization method of asexuality combined with sexuality was used to overcome the infertility after hybridization. The isoenzyme identification and RAPD analysis showed that the filial generation contained genetic materials from both parents. The detection of medical ingredients and smoke of mono-tobacco cigarette indicated that the filial generation contained atropine and scopolamine. The result of the microscope detection showed that F1-F18 cell chromosome were heterozygosis. It was proved by the cigarette factory after many experiments that the new-type tobacco had comparably high utility value.
