Abstract:
We studied the relationship between appearance quality and smoke components with 183 of flue-cured tobacco samples. The results showed that there was significant difference in the production of tar and TPM between Yunyan85, Honghuadajinyuan and K326. The leaf position had a great influence on the measured value of smoke components; they were ranked from high to low as the position from the top down. The color had less influence on the measured value of smoke components of top and lower leaves, and had the greatest influence on the measured value of smoke components of middle leaves. The production of tar and TPM of middle leaves rose while the color deepened. The body had less influence on the measured value of smoke components of top leaves, and had great influence on the measured value of smoke components of lower and middle leaves. When the measured value of smoke components were ranked from high to low as medium leaf, less thin leaf and thin leaf. The measured values of production of CO and TPM of lower and middle leaf increased while color intensity deepened. There was less and irregular relationship between leaf oil and smoke components values.
