Abstract:
In order to understand the diversity of the regional feature of flue cured tobacco leaf thickness, the leaf tobacco thickness data from 2003 to 2008 were used, the regional feature of leaf thickness of flue cured tobacco was studied by using county scale. The data were analyzed by the Kriging interpolation method in the SURFER software. The results showed that the leaf thickness of flue-cured tobacco was relatively thick in northwestern and northeastern China, and Huanghe and Huaihe valley, but the thickness was relatively thin in Yangtze valley, southern Anhui and southeastern China. The leaf thickness varied with region. The regional feature distribution of leaf thickness of flue cured tobacco could be displayed visually by use of geostatistical analysis and contour map approaches.
